The EViews Learning Team

Mira Farka has been part of the IHS EViews training team for two years, and is also a professor at California State University, Fullerton. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University, New York, in 2004. Dr Farka’s research interests focus on applied topics in the fields of macroeconomics and finance with emphasis on asset prices and monetary policy.

Prior to joining IHS and Cal. State Fullterton, Dr. Farka worked as a senior economist for Deutsche Bank, New York, were she was responsible for developing econometric forecast models for macroeconomic indicators and exchange rates.

Mira has been a user of EViews throughout her career, both academic and professional, and has a vast knowledge of its application to real world problems.

Gareth Thomas has been part of the EViews team for over 11 years. He recieved his PhD in Economics in 2005 from Arizona State University with concentration on panel data econometrics.

Gareth leads the EViews training team, and is also one of the principal software developers for EViews.

Both of these roles have left him extremely knowledgable in all areas of EViews.
