License Program Pricing1
The EViews Volume License Program provides commercial and government institutions with discounted pricing on multiple copies of EViews. A Volume License also simplifies the process of budgeting for future software updates and technical support. The option to arrange your Volume License between SEAT or CONCURRENT USE basis (or any combination of the two) provides you optimum flexibility to match the needs of your organization.
- SEAT licensing is for use on specific computers.
- CONCURRENT USE licenses allow EViews to be shared across computers within a single network (LAN or VPN). However, the number of simultaneous instances of EViews in use is limited to the number of CONCURRENT USE licenses.
EViews Volume Licenses are sold in units of 5. You can configure the number of SEAT and CONCURRENT licenses based on the units you purchase.
- 1 SEAT license requires 1 unit.
- 1 CONCURRENT USE license requires 2 units.
Virtual Environment: Concurrent licenses may be hosted on a virtual EViews license server. EViews clients using the concurrent license can be run on VMs or over Citrix/Terminal Server.
